How to Contribute#

  1. Report Bugs - Check if the bug has already been reported in the GitHub Issues - If not, create a new issue with a clear title and description - Include steps to reproduce the issue and any relevant error messages

  2. Request Features - Check if the feature has already been requested - Create a new issue with a clear description of the feature and its benefits

  3. Contribute Code - Fork the repository - Create a new branch for your changes - Make your changes with clear, well-documented code - Add tests for new features - Ensure all tests pass - Submit a pull request with a clear description of your changes

Coding Standards#

  • Follow the existing code style

  • Write clear, concise commit messages

  • Document new features and changes

  • Add unit tests for new functionality

  • Update documentation as needed

Development Setup#

  1. Fork and clone the repository

  2. Set up your development environment: .. code-block:: bash

    git clone your-username/Evolver.git cd Evolver mvn install

  3. Create a new branch for your changes: .. code-block:: bash

    git checkout -b my-feature-branch

  4. Make your changes and commit them: .. code-block:: bash
